IDrive is a cloud backup service that mirrors your files, photos, and system images to the cloud on a schedule. Cancelling it means turning off auto-renewal; the catch is twofold and easy to miss. First, the 15-day refund window is anchored to your account creation date, not your most recent charge date. Second, and more serious, all your data is deleted 30 days after your subscription expires, so letting it lapse also lets your backup disappear.

To cancel, sign in at idrive.com/account, click your username and open Account, then the Billing Information section, and click Cancel Auto-Renewal next to your active plan. Confirm to stop future billing. If you were billed through the Apple App Store or Google Play, cancel in that platform's subscription settings instead. After cancellation, access continues until the billing period ends.

Practical advice: mark your account creation date, not your renewal date, when judging the refund window. More importantly, pull your backups down to local storage before you let the plan lapse - 30 days after expiry your data is gone and there is no recovery.
