Clockify is a Croatian time-tracking SaaS used by teams to log hours and run reports, and cancelling a paid workspace simply stops the recurring billing — your data stays in place. The point most users miss is the trade-off: Clockify does not refund, but it also never deletes your data on downgrade, so leaving costs you money back, not your records.

The catch is not the steps but the refund stance — Clockify's policy is effectively no refunds, with a single narrow exception for a mistaken charge caused by a system error.

After you cancel, paid features keep working until the end of the billing period, then the workspace automatically drops to the Free plan. All your time entries, projects, and reports remain — Clockify's stated position is that downgrading does not clear data, and it is retained indefinitely.

Cancel before the renewal date to avoid the next charge. Do not expect a refund: the only path back is a billing error on Clockify's side. The upside is that you lose nothing by leaving — every workspace stays intact, so there is no export rush. If you ever need the paid features again, resubscribe from the same workspace and your history is exactly where you left it. Treat cancel as a pause you can reverse, not a deletion.
