What happens after you cancel
Your access
Paid features stay active until the end of the current billing cycle, then the account drops to the Free plan. Projects and assets are kept unless the account is deleted; on Free you cannot create new projects if you already have more than three. Purchased credits remain, but feature availability follows the current plan tier (Free-tier generations are watermarked).
Refunds
At Runway's discretion: a refund may be granted if the subscription was purchased or renewed within the last 30 days and has been unused or close to unused; also for unused credit purchases within 30 days, or for wrong-plan selection (difference refunded). Request it via the help icon AI assistant or by replying to a billing receipt. Apple/Google Play purchases must be refunded through the store.
