If you subscribed in the iOS app, cancel in Settings > your name > Subscriptions > Character.AI. The website cannot cancel a store-billed plan.
Billed via Google Play
If you subscribed on Android, cancel in Google Play > Subscriptions. Uninstalling the app does not cancel the subscription.
What happens after you cancel
Your access
c.ai+ benefits remain until the end of the current billing period; characters, chats, and Lorebook entries remain on the account.
Refunds
Payments are non-refundable except where required by law. App store (Apple/Google Play) purchases must be cancelled and refunded through the store; website (Stripe) purchases follow the Help Center, which offers no refund beyond legal requirements.
